FIDS-Fiber provides functions to locate facilities by remote terminal site id, street intersections or addresses. These locations can be where fiber problems are occurring. For example, an OTDR reading at a remote terminal site can indicate a problem 2000 feet from the site. FIDS-Fiber traces and locates where the problems occurs.
