FIDS Fiber provides the ability to enter cable characteristics from catalogs and to provide information to calculate losses on the network. Screenshot Assignments can be made at any point in the fiber network and rippled throughout the network. When an individual fiber is selected for assignment, the devices and facilities that fiber is attached to are brought up in a window in the network. Any device in the window may be selected and navigated to simply by pointing and clicking. Screenshot The Network map can be produced automatically from the information in the database, and drawn in a separate design file. A link to that drawing can be located in the master files.
